If you plan to use your patio set yourself once the home is sold, buy one that complements your family size: single chairs for couples who entertain, love seats and couches for families, etc. However, if you’re planning to store the patio set away or will use it in some other capacity, consider a smaller set that’s easily transported.

At the same time, it should be heavy enough so that it won’t blow around in the wind while you’re not currently occupying the house.
