Its loose boundaries include the north side of Las Vegas Blvd, the eastern part of Lake Mead Blvd, some of Rancho, and east of the north section of Decatur Blvd.

A lush and inviting city, Henderson is located in the southeast part of the valley and snakes up the furthest eastern areas such as Lake Las Vegas. Consistently ranked as one of the safest places to live in major publications such as Forbes and Bloomberg Businessweek, Henderson also has the 7th highest per-capita income in the United States.
