For example, the traffic comparison tool Numbeo cites how the commute to work in Las Vegas averages to about 32 minutes, which is significantly less when compared to 47 minutes in Los Angeles.
Although traffic times in Las Vegas varies throughout the week and holidays due to incoming tourist traffic from California, the ability to circumvent traffic jams in Las Vegas is definitely more possible due to the wide array of alternative commute options available in both freeways and surface streets.

Because of all the transplants that move here—retirees, people seeking better weather, individuals in the tech industry, and people of different cultures—plus all the tourists visiting Las Vegas to have a good time, there’s always new people to meet. For anyone interested in buying a home in Las Vegas, the property taxes here are lower than in other major cities. For example, according to CNN Money, property taxes in Los Angeles County average to about $3,131, whereas property taxes in Dallas County (Texas) average to $2,822, while property taxes in Clark County (Las Vegas) are only at $1,828. Given the lower tax incentive, potential homeowners could find it much easier to buy a house in Las Vegas and keep most of their investment tied directly into their home rather than into their home’s property taxes.
